Untitled (Figure with Worm Eyes) by Ken

These drawings by an artist simply identified as Ken are haunting in their simplicity and surrealism. Borderline macabre, they leave me wondering as to their meaning.

I just love the thin people of Jinyoung Shin, the style and cerebral qualities of her work. Her color work is great as well, very vivid and trippy.

Denny Smith, whom I posted about last week, pointed me to old-time friend of his, Rick Tulka. It turns out Rick is a contributor to one of my all-time favorite ‘toon rags, Mad Magazine. Rick’s site is chock full of fantastic caricatures and other works of his.

I feel this drawing perfectly displays Niko Henrichon’s ability to draw both compelling comic characters as well as bring to life vivid fantasies.

Yes, this is drawn in Charcoal. Utterly amazing if you ask me. Hong Chun Zhang hails from China.

The British Ryan de Haff self-proclaimed “wannabe freelance illustrator” is pretty talented and has some good stuff on his site. You can find even more goodies on his blog.

Man Hethe Srodawa is incredibly talented and imaginative. If you’re ever in the need for some character inspiration check out his portfolio or stop by his blog.

Sketches by Ronnie Del Carmen.

Some great sketches over at Crack Skull Bob, with some pretty funny commentary to go along.

Justine Ashbee creates these wonderfully organic, oversized drawings with Sharpie pens. As she puts it:
