This drawing is but a small glimpse into the deliciously twisted and borderline perverse world of Coro36. Whether realistic figure or full-fledged fantasy drawings, this guy is ridiculously talented.

Very imaginative, unique, and surreal drawings.

"Snoop Dog" by WSJ Illustrator Noli Novak

“Snoop Dog” by Noli Novak

That’s right, Snoop Dog as he would appear in the Wall Street Journal.  One of the many fine examples of Noli Novak, who’s contributed quite a number of pictures to the WSJ.  The likeness that is captured is amazing.

Site Renamed

From Pen & Pencil to Drawn In Black. Now accessible via drawninblack.com. The name pretty much sums it up. Woo.

Update: Fixed the broken image after I deleted the “penandpencil” subdomain but failed to copy the images to the new domain. Whoops.

Untitled by DAIM

Untitled by DAIM

As far as I know, DAIM was one of the first guys to pioneer true 3d graffiti pieces. His work is awesome. I was even fortunate enough to stumble across one of his works in Germany (across from my old kindergarten!). His sketches are equally as impressive.

“Thug” by Jeremy Mohler

Thug

Jeremy Mohler definitely shares my love of comics. His characters are clean, imaginative, and professional.

“Headache” by Stella Im Hultberg

Headache

I love the style of Stella Im Hultberg’s sketches, which look fashion inspired and pack plenty of attitude.
